Prior to Growing in Grace, Rhonda received various certificates related to biblical counseling through American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC) and completed an Associate’s degree through Covington Theological Seminary in Biblical Counseling with a focus on premarital and marital relationships.

Much of this was out of her desire to understand her own marriage, yet wanting to help and encourage others along the way. Because she enjoys learning and understanding the “who, what, where, when, and why” of things, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theology online. Understanding the grace message Jesus taught is the key to living life well (fully).

After receiving heart healing through Restoration Prayer Ministry (RPM), Rhonda joined the team in 2010. She has grown, and continues to grow, in leadership and facilitation in all areas of ministry provided by GGM, and is the office administrator.

In July 2017, Growing in Grace ordained her as a minister.  Her heart is to give out of the comfort she has been given (2 Cor. 1:4) and to encourage living the abundant life Jesus purchased for all.

Rhonda and Lane, her husband of 29 years, have a wonderful son, Kirian. The family dog, an elderly Jack Russell, is true to her name, Sadie – “Princess.” Rhonda plays tennis competitively, enjoys hiking, attempts golf, loves sightseeing, and hanging out with friends and family. When not doing all that, she truly loves to watch movies and veg out.  She loves all kinds of food but tends to gravitate toward the Mexican flavor (refried beans are like icing on a cake).
